Turkish Foreign Minister: Hamas Ready to Hand Over Gaza Governance to a Palestinian Committee
SadaNews - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan confirmed after a ministerial meeting on Gaza in Istanbul that Israel must stop violating the ceasefire and fulfill its responsibility regarding the delivery of humanitarian aid.
He also added during a press conference on Monday that Hamas has expressed its readiness to transfer governance of the Gaza Strip to a committee of Palestinians.
Fidan explained that the concerned countries will make decisions regarding the participation of troops in the international stabilization force based on their definitions and criteria.
Moreover, he indicated that "Ankara wants to do everything necessary for peace but needs to see an acceptable framework first," as he stated.
