Phone Call Between Al Thani and Rubio Discusses Gaza Agreement
SadaNews - Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, received a phone call today, Thursday, from Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State.
During the call, they reviewed the close strategic relations between the State of Qatar and the United States and ways to support and develop them. They also discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories in light of the ceasefire agreement in the area, along with several topics of mutual interest.
The Qatari official emphasized the necessity of joint regional and international efforts to ensure the full implementation of the agreement, paving the way for sustainable peace and the desired stability in the region.
