Report Reveals: Occupation Army Floods Gaza with Its War Wastes
SadaNews - The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" revealed, based on documented information and video clips, that the Israeli army is dumping massive amounts of waste, particularly construction waste, into the Gaza Strip, in a move that has sparked a wave of anger and condemnation.
The footage shows Israeli trucks leaving the settlement area surrounding Gaza and heading towards the Strip, loaded with debris from the construction of military bases and headquarters during the war.
These trucks travel a distance of 200 to 300 meters inside the border fence near the Kissufim crossing, unloading their cargo on the sides of the roads, with no regard for designated sites or environmental standards, before returning empty to Israel.
The newspaper indicates that this waste includes remnants of concrete walls, barriers, and building demolition debris, which are a direct result of the intensive military activities that the region has witnessed in recent months.
Officers talking to "Haaretz" confirmed that the decision was made on the ground by military leaders, allowing trucks belonging to private companies to enter Gaza and dump waste wherever they find suitable, without oversight or regulation.
