Trump demands Hamas to quickly return the bodies of the captives: We will follow up in 48 hours
SadaNews - President Donald Trump demanded that Hamas begin "quickly" returning the bodies of the detained Israelis, including two Americans, stating that he will be monitoring the events over the next two days.
Trump wrote in a post on the "Truth Social" platform: "We have a very strong peace in the Middle East, and I believe it has a good chance of lasting forever."
He continued: "Hamas must start quickly returning the bodies of the deceased captives, including two Americans, or else the other countries involved in this great peace will take action."
He added that "some bodies are difficult to reach, but they (Hamas) can return some now, and for some reason, they are not doing so, perhaps related to disarming them."
He qualified: "But when I said that both sides would be dealt with fairly, that only applies if they adhere to their commitments. Let’s see what they do in the next 48 hours. I am watching this closely."
