"UNRWA": Israel must stop annexing land in the West Bank

SadaNews - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has called on Israel to halt all land annexation operations in the West Bank, describing them as a serious violation of international law.

The agency warned via the platform "X" that the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is experiencing a sharp escalation in violence since the outbreak of war in Gaza in October 2023.

UNRWA confirmed the unity of the future of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, indicating that more than a thousand Palestinians have been killed, a fifth of whom are children, according to United Nations estimates regarding the violence in the West Bank.
