SadaNews - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that over 61 million tons of rubble cover vast areas of the Gaza Strip, noting that entire neighborhoods have been wiped out due to ongoing destruction.
The agency confirmed, according to its official website today, that entire families are still searching through the debris for water and shelter, amid the restrictions imposed on the entry of humanitarian aid.
The UN agency emphasized that its teams continue to provide life-saving assistance to the affected population despite the ongoing blockade, reaffirming its commitment to continue its humanitarian work in the region despite the difficult conditions.
