Netanyahu and Vance Discuss Gaza Plan: "A Strong Israel Serves America"
SadaNews - The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance in his office.
Netanyahu stated during a press conference in Jerusalem with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance that the world is beginning to change thanks to the partnership with the United States, adding that Tel Aviv has succeeded in "isolating Hamas and returning the hostages."
Netanyahu continued, saying that "a strong Israel will serve America's interests, and a strong America will serve Israel's interests," as he put it.
For his part, the U.S. Vice President expressed his eagerness to work with Netanyahu on a peace plan for Gaza and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that Israel will play an important role in the region.
He also expressed optimism about the continuation of the ceasefire in Gaza, and his belief that the current situation represents an opportunity to build on the Abraham Accords, according to his statement.
