Washington Opens Military-Civilian Coordination Center in Israel "To Support Gaza's Stability"
SadaNews - The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the opening of a military-civilian coordination center in Israel aimed at supporting the stability of Gaza.
It stated that the center was inaugurated in Israel on October 17, representing the official launch of the main coordination center for aid to Gaza.
For his part, CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper said the center will monitor the implementation of the ceasefire agreement through an operations room that allows the staff to assess developments in Gaza moment by moment.
Israeli sources quoted by Kan News reported that: "The United States is closely monitoring every movement in Gaza, via the command headquarters established in Kiryat Gat, in an effort to prevent the collapse of the ceasefire agreement, as Israel has become as if it were a state under American guardianship."
