Israel Decides to Stop Humanitarian Aid Entry and Close All Crossings with Gaza Strip

SadaNews - The Israeli political level decided, on the evening of Sunday, October 19, 2025, to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip until further notice, based on a recommendation from the army.

According to Channel 12, the Israeli political level ordered the closure of all crossings with the Gaza Strip.

This decision comes in light of escalating security developments on the tenth day of the ceasefire agreement, following more than two years of the Israeli war on Gaza. Israel accuses Hamas of violating the agreement by "targeting military vehicles" in the city of Rafah in the south of the Strip, while the movement insists on its full commitment and accuses the occupation of "fabricating excuses to justify the continuation of its crimes."

The Israeli army has launched a series of violent airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip, resulting so far in the martyrdom of 19 civilians and injuries to dozens of others.

In this context, Channel 12 reported, citing sources in Tel Aviv, that the U.S. administration is making intensive efforts to prevent the collapse of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and to ensure the continuation of the fragile calm that has existed since the signing of the agreement.

The American site "Axios" reported that officials in Washington stated that the United States urged Israel to respond in a "proportional" manner amid calls for restraint, following the recent escalation in the Strip.
