Israel Confirms Identification of Prisoner’s Body, Second Under Examination

SadaNews - The office of the occupation government led by Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that army representatives informed the family of prisoner Ronin Engel about the return of their son to Israel and the completion of identification, after Al-Qassam Brigades delivered the bodies of two prisoners last night.

The office noted that the identification process for the second body that was returned is still ongoing.

Hamas had announced that it would deliver the bodies of detainees later on Saturday as part of the implementation of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

It stated in a message via Telegram that it "will deliver the bodies of two prisoners from the Israeli captives, which were extracted today in Gaza at ten o'clock PM Gaza time".

The brigades clarified that the delivery process is part of humanitarian arrangements and partial agreements that include the exchange of bodies and prisoners between the two sides.
