Injuries to Two Israeli Soldiers from Grenade Attack in Tubas

SadaNews - Two Israeli soldiers were injured today, Saturday, as a result of a grenade being thrown towards the army forces during their incursion into the city of Tubas in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli army stated in a statement that the condition of the soldiers was described as moderate, following the grenade attack on the forces "while they were conducting offensive operations in Tubas"; noting that his forces are still operating in the area.

Palestinian media sources reported that "injuries occurred among the occupation soldiers due to the resistance detonating a bomb against them in the city of Tubas, and the occupation brought in a helicopter to the Tayasir checkpoint near the city."

It was reported that Israeli forces invaded the city of Tubas and the town of Aqaba to its north, deploying infantry forces there.

The Israeli army later withdrew from the town of Aqaba towards the city of Tubas, spreading its forces in several neighborhoods there, and deployed infantry troops, leading to confrontations between the forces and the youth.

Earlier, the Israeli army announced that it carried out incursions in dozens of Palestinian villages in the West Bank over the weekend, stating that the forces conducted "warning conversations" with released prisoners and their families, and worked to prevent any celebratory events after their release under the exchange deal between Israel and Hamas.

It also stated that it killed Palestinians over the weekend, in addition to carrying out arrests and seizing explosive devices and weapons in several towns, according to its statement.
