Trump Expects Expansion of Abraham Agreements Soon
SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he expects the Abraham Accords between Israel to expand to include other Arab countries soon.
During an interview with Fox Business, Trump was asked whether he anticipated the expansion of those agreements between Israel and Arab nations, to which he responded positively.
Trump also stated that countries cannot join these agreements while there is war in Gaza and during the confrontation with Iran.
The U.S. president believes that the agreements will help establish long-term peace in the Middle East.
Following U.S. and Israeli strikes that targeted Iranian nuclear facilities last June, Trump called on all Middle Eastern countries to join the normalization agreements with Israel, saying it would ensure peace in the region.
The Abraham Accords were signed on September 15, 2020, at the White House between the UAE, Bahrain, and Israel, with U.S. mediation.
