Recovery of the Bodies of 103 Martyrs Since the Announcement of the Ceasefire Agreement
SadaNews - A statistical report issued by the Civil Defense Directorate in the Gaza Strip stated that its teams in the governorates of the strip recovered the bodies of 103 martyrs from areas evacuated by the Israeli occupation forces, following the announcement of a ceasefire last Friday.
The Civil Defense Directorate confirmed in a statement issued by its media office that some of the martyrs' bodies were decomposed, while others were incomplete remains, as they were retrieved from the streets and from under the rubble of buildings and homes. Meanwhile, hundreds of martyrs' bodies remain under the rubble, making it difficult to recover them due to the lack of heavy rescue equipment.
The statement clarified that its emergency teams transported the bodies to hospitals in the governorates of the strip.
