Houthis Announce the Death of Their Chief of Staff and Appoint a Replacement
SadaNews - The Houthis in Yemen announced today, Thursday, the death of their Chief of Staff, Major General Muhammad Abdul Karim al-Ghamari.
They stated that he "was killed along with some of his companions and his son Hussein in various raids carried out by the American-Zionist criminal aggression against our country during two years of the 'Tsunami of Al-Aqsa' battle."
They announced the appointment of Major General Yusuf Hassan al-Madani as the new Chief of Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, succeeding al-Ghamari.
The Yemeni armed forces stated in a press release that "a large number of great martyrs, both civilians and military from naval, ground, and missile forces, including the Prime Minister and his ministerial colleagues, and various members of the Yemeni people, have risen during this aggression over a period of two years of support, as part of the promised opening battle and the sacred jihad."
The armed forces revealed that the total number of operations they executed was (758), involving (1835) ballistic, winged, hypersonic missiles, drone strikes, and naval vessels as part of the promised opening battle and sacred jihad in support of the Palestinian people and to aid the steadfast fighters in the Gaza Strip and defend the sanctities of the nation.
