Weitkov Denies Resigning from His Position or Reducing His Duties
SadaNews - The U.S. special envoy for Middle East affairs, Steve Weitkov, denied this evening, Wednesday, his intention to resign from his position or reduce his role in the Middle East peace mission.
Weitkov confirmed in a tweet via his account on "X" that the news regarding this matter is unfounded.
He stated that he will be more engaged in the peace process than ever before and that he continues to work proudly in service of President Donald Trump.
Weitkov said: I am more committed to the peace agreement than ever.
Weitkov led the negotiations related to ending the Gaza War.
