Two Arabs Killed and Two Injured in Shooting Incident in the "Modiin" Area
SadaNews - Two young men were killed and two others were seriously injured due to gunfire on Route 443 near "Modiin" east of the cities of Lod and Ramla today, Wednesday.
According to the information reported, the four young men, who are in their forties, are from an Arab town.
Footage showed a vehicle being shot at by a motorcycle occupied by two individuals. According to the police, three of the injured were inside the vehicle, while the fourth was one of the motorcycle passengers who was apparently shot by police who arrested the motorcycle driver after chasing him.
Medical teams from "Magen David Adom" arrived at the scene and provided first aid to five injured persons whose injuries ranged from critical to serious due to gunfire.
The medical teams confirmed the deaths of two of the injured after attempts to save their lives failed, while the other two injured were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Israeli police stated that their forces began chasing the motorcycle driver involved in the shooting before arresting him near the crime scene, and they initiated an investigation into the circumstances and background of the crime.
