Israeli Broadcasting Authority: 600 Aid Trucks Will Enter Gaza
SadaNews: The Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced that 600 aid trucks will enter Gaza with the reopening of the Rafah crossing today, Wednesday.
A few hours earlier, the authority stated that Israel had decided to reopen the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt and allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip following Hamas's delivery of the bodies of 4 detainees on Tuesday evening.
On Tuesday evening, Channel 13 reported that Israel had decided not to reopen the crossing and to limit the entry of humanitarian aid under the pretext of Hamas not delivering the remains of the remaining prisoners.
The Israeli public broadcasting authority (Kan Radio) also mentioned that Israel decided to move forward with reopening the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt and allow the transfer of humanitarian aid to the sector, following the return of the remains of 4 detainees.
It added that Israel canceled procedures it intended to take against the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which included reducing the number of aid trucks entering the sector by half.
