The Occupation Army Justifies Gunfire in Gaza Under the Pretext of the 'Yellow Line'

SadaNews - On the fifth day of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces committed a series of violations that resulted in the martyrdom of a number of Palestinian citizens, including those who were inspecting their destroyed homes.

The occupation army commented on the incidents by stating that they "opened fire to remove a threat after spotting suspicious individuals attempting to cross the yellow line," referring to an imaginary withdrawal line designated within the ceasefire arrangements. This justification was met with widespread rejection from Palestinian and human rights groups, who viewed it as an attempt to justify targeting civilians.

A number of citizens were martyred today, Tuesday, by the occupation’s bullets east of Gaza City, despite the "ceasefire" agreement being in effect for the fifth day.

A medical source reported that 3 citizens were martyred due to gunfire from the occupation’s drones targeting citizens inspecting their homes in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Additionally, one citizen was martyred and another was injured following an airstrike by the occupation’s drone on the town of al-Fukhari east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Several citizens were also injured due to the occupation targeting the Al-Halawa refugee camp in Jabaliya, north of Gaza.
