Without Netanyahu.. Billboards Calling for "Peace" in the Streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem
SadaNews - Giant billboards calling for "peace" and "normalization" with Israel have spread in the streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem on Sunday, notably without Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's presence.
The billboards feature U.S. President Donald Trump, his Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Washington envoy Steve Witkoff, along with Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, whose name has recently resurfaced in the political arena.
The images are accompanied by phrases such as "Peace Makers in the Middle East," "Don't Stop Now," and "Continue the Path to Normalization."
The images gained wide circulation on social media platforms, with most comments highlighting their lack of Netanyahu.
The photos carry the logo of the "Regional Security Coalition," which was established last year with the aim of "enhancing Israel's security."
The spread of the images comes ahead of Trump's anticipated visit to Israel scheduled for Monday, after which he will travel to Egypt to attend the peace summit in Sharm El Sheikh aimed at ending the Gaza war.
Israel and Hamas have agreed on the first phase of Trump's 20-point plan to end the war in the devastated Gaza Strip.
According to the plan, Hamas is scheduled to release 47 hostages (both alive and deceased) by noon on Monday and to hand over the remains of an Israeli soldier killed in a previous conflict in Gaza in 2014.
In return, Israel will release approximately two thousand Palestinian prisoners and detainees.
