Occupation warns against celebrations for the release of Palestinian prisoners (Watch)
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of raids at dawn today, targeting the homes of Palestinian prisoners in the cities of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, as part of their preparations to prevent any expected celebratory manifestations following the implementation of the anticipated prisoner exchange deal.
Media sources reported that the occupation authorities issued direct warnings to the families of the prisoners expected to be released, through phone calls and messages, urging them not to raise Palestinian flags or images of the prisoners, and not to organize reception ceremonies or express gratitude to the Palestinian resistance, especially in the Gaza Strip.
In an official statement, the occupation army said: "We continue with the security agencies our preparations to prevent celebrations for the release of Palestinian prisoners."
