Settlers Cut 150 Olive Trees in Ma'in East of Ramallah
SadaNews - Settlers cut down dozens of olive trees today, Sunday, in the village of Ma'in, east of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that a number of settlers stormed the "Marj Sia" area west of Ma'in adjacent to the lands of the neighboring village of Abu Falakh, and cut down 150 olive trees at the start of the season, before withdrawing from the area.
Earlier this morning, settlers were seen grazing their sheep on the lands of the citizens in the town.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 232 acts of vandalism and theft of citizens' properties during July, affecting vast areas of land and causing the uprooting, destruction, and poisoning of 2,844 trees, including 2,647 olive trees.
