Whitcomb and a Senior American Officer Visit Gaza Strip
SadaNews - U.S. envoy for Middle East affairs, Steve Whitcomb, accompanied by U.S. Central Command Commander Admiral Bradley Cooper, visited Israeli military forces in the Gaza Strip after their withdrawal to what is known as the yellow line in accordance with Donald Trump's plan.
Fox News broadcast an exclusive image of the visit, which aimed to confirm that the withdrawal of the troops was conducted as agreed.
Joining the American officials was Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, who appeared in the photo published by Fox.
Fox News reported that the visit aimed to confirm the completion of the withdrawal agreed upon within the framework of the agreement with Hamas.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command leader stated that he discussed during the visit how to establish a coordination center for post-conflict stability support activities.
He added: "We will work to achieve coordination of stability support activities without the presence of American forces on the ground in the Gaza Strip."
