The Continued Return of Displaced Persons to Gaza City and Its North, and the Retrieval of New Martyrs' Bodies
SadaNews - For the second consecutive day, the return process of displaced persons from the central and southern Gaza Strip to their residential areas in Gaza City and its north is ongoing.
Since yesterday afternoon, hundreds of thousands of residents from the city and its northern areas have been flocking to their neighborhoods to inspect the extensive damage inflicted on their homes.
Tens of thousands of residents who once owned houses, even if they were partially damaged, have lost their homes due to the recent actions of the occupation in Gaza City and its north.
Despite all the scenes of destruction, residents of Gaza City and its north prefer to return to their neighborhoods and stay in tents there rather than remain away from the areas where they have grown up and lived for years.
Gaza City and its northern areas require heavy machinery to remove the rubble from the streets and elsewhere, as well as significant efforts to restore water and urgent necessities for the residents.
Meanwhile, the process of retrieving the bodies of the martyrs by medical teams and civil defense continues from the areas from which the occupation forces have withdrawn.
