Martyr Killed by Occupation Gunfire in Jenin City

SadaNews - A citizen was martyred by the gunfire of the Israeli occupation forces this evening, Friday, in the city of Jenin.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams dealt with a martyr near the Cinema Roundabout and transported him to the hospital, indicating that he was shot by the occupation in the abdomen and neck.

The Ministry of Health announced that the martyr is 25-year-old Muhammad Adnan Yusuf Salama.

Local sources stated that a force of the occupation army stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Jenin, amid the firing of bullets towards citizens, which led to the martyrdom of young Salama.

The sources mentioned that the occupation forces deployed a squad of infantry soldiers in the area of the Cinema Roundabout in the center of the city, and around the Jenin Government Hospital and the Al-Amal Hospital, and detained a young man whose identity has not yet been identified.

With the martyrdom of young Salama, the number of martyrs in the Jenin Governorate rises to 50 since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on the city and its camp on January 21, last year, which also targeted several towns and villages in the governorate.

During the aggression, the occupation destroyed more than 600 homes completely in the Jenin refugee camp and partially demolished about a thousand housing units, leading to the displacement of around 22 thousand citizens from the camp to the city and towns and villages of the governorate.
