Hebrew Radio Reveals Details of the Opening of the Rafah Land Crossing
SadaNews Translation - The Israeli army radio revealed on Friday details regarding the opening of the Rafah land crossing as part of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
According to the radio, as translated by SadaNews, it will allow the return of residents of the Gaza Strip who left the area through the Rafah crossing.
The return of the Palestinians will begin only after a mechanism is established with the Egyptians, followed by determining the criteria, the number, and the entire process.
It was indicated that residents of Gaza will be allowed to exit to Egypt via the Rafah crossing, using the same mechanism as the January 2025 agreement, after receiving approval from Israel and under the inspection and supervision of a delegation from the European Union.
There will be no specific limit on the number of travelers from Gaza to Egypt.
It was noted that 600 aid trucks will be allowed daily by the United Nations, approved international organizations, and the private sector. The trucks will include food, medical supplies, shelter equipment, fuel, and cooking gas.
The movement of the trucks will be free from the southern part of the Gaza Strip to the northern part via two routes, Salah al-Din and al-Rashid.
