Several leaders from European countries, Canada, India, the United Nations, and international organizations welcomed the "historic agreement" and called for immediate and full adherence to its clauses.
United Nations
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres urged all parties involved to fully comply with the ceasefire agreement, stating that all detainees should be released in a dignified manner and ensuring a permanent cessation of hostilities.
Guterres also called for the immediate and unimpeded entry of humanitarian supplies and essential commercial goods into the Gaza Strip.
United Kingdom
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer praised Hamas and Israel for agreeing to the first phase of the agreement, asserting that it must be fully implemented without delay.
While Starmer urged all parties to fulfill their commitments and end the war, he called for the immediate lifting of all restrictions on aid to the Gaza Strip coinciding with the implementation of the agreement.
