Delegations from Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front Join Negotiations in Sharm El-Sheikh
SadaNews: A leading source in the Islamic Jihad Movement reported that delegations from the movement and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine have joined the Palestinian negotiation team in the ongoing negotiations in Sharm El-Sheikh, under Egyptian sponsorship, as part of the efforts aimed at stopping the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The source clarified that the factions' delegation participates with the aim of reaching an agreement that ends the suffering of the Palestinian people and halts the ongoing genocide, affirming that the factions will be loyal to the priorities of the Palestinian people, most importantly ending the war and full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
He added that involving the factions alongside Hamas in the negotiations is considered a Palestinian national demand and has been welcomed by regional and international mediators.
For its part, a source in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed that the inclusion of representatives from Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front was requested by the movement and was arranged in coordination with the Egyptian side, in a step aimed at strengthening the unity of the Palestinian position in facing political and field challenges.
