Jordan facilitates the passage of activists from the "SadaFleet" through the King Hussein Bridge
SadaNews Translation: The Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Washington announced that Jordan has facilitated the entry of a Jordanian citizen and 130 individuals from the Global SadaFleet through the King Hussein Bridge, as well as providing the necessary support and facilitating their travel procedures abroad in coordination with the relevant embassies.
Last Wednesday evening, the Israeli Navy seized 42 ships belonging to the Global SadaFleet while they were sailing in international waters heading towards Gaza, and arrested hundreds of international activists on board, transferring them to Ktz'iot prison (south) before announcing the start of their deportation later.
The Freedom Fleet and, before it, the Global SadaFleet, which launched in late August, represent the latest attempt by activists to challenge the Israeli naval blockade on the Gaza Strip, which is enduring a genocide at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces, with more than 67,000 martyrs, in addition to tens of thousands of wounded and widespread destruction of infrastructure, leading to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
On Wednesday morning, the Global SadaFleet management announced that the Israeli Navy attacked the Freedom Fleet heading to Gaza to break the blockade on the strip.
The International Committee to Break the Gaza Siege stated that the Israeli army attacked the Freedom Fleet in international waters, 222 kilometers away from the strip.
