Bseiso Assumes His Duties as Acting Minister of Transportation and Communications

SadaNews - Eng. Ahed Bseiso has assumed his duties as the Acting Minister of Transportation and Communications, in implementation of the decision of the Prime Minister, in addition to his duties as Minister of Public Works and Housing.

The handover took place at the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah, in the presence of the Ministry's Undersecretary, Mr. Mohamed Hamdan, and the assistant undersecretaries.

During the handover ceremony, Minister Bseiso affirmed his commitment to the directives of the Palestinian government and the decisions of the Prime Minister, emphasizing the necessity of the ministry's continuous work and its services to citizens without any interruption, and the continuation of vital projects and development plans in the transportation and communications sector to enhance institutional performance and elevate the level of public service.

He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the ministry's staff in various governorates, valuing their dedication to performing their duties despite difficult circumstances, and confirming that the upcoming phase will witness more harmony and integration between the departments of the Ministry of Transportation to serve the Palestinian citizen.

For his part, Undersecretary Hamdan welcomed Minister Bseiso, confirming the ministry's readiness and its staff to implement the Prime Minister's decision and ensure a smooth transition of responsibility, continuing to work with a spirit of teamwork, in service of the public interest and enhancing citizens' trust in state institutions.

He pointed out that the ministry will continue to implement its development programs and strategic projects in the fields of land and maritime transport and traffic safety.

At the end of the meeting, Undersecretary Hamdan and the ministry staff expressed their wishes for Minister Bseiso's success and excellence in his new duties, affirming their commitment to continue working with a spirit of national responsibility and institutional integration, for the good of the homeland and the citizen.
