Infested Cell... Humiliating Detention of "Greta Thunberg" in Israel
SadaNews - The British newspaper "The Guardian" revealed that Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg was subjected to harsh and humiliating conditions during her detention in Israel, according to what the Swedish embassy in Tel Aviv informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm.
According to the official statement, as translated by SadaNews, Thunberg was placed in a cell infested with fleas, causing her severe skin rashes, and she suffered from dehydration due to a lack of water and food provided to her. Another Swedish activist who witnessed some details of the interrogation reported that the investigators "forced her to wave flags", referring to the Israeli flag.
One activist stated: "They pulled Greta by her hair, beat her, and forced her to kiss the Israeli flag. They did everything imaginable to her as a warning to others." Another activist added: "They wrapped her in the Israeli flag and displayed her as if she were a trophy."
