According to a statement from the Israeli army, translated by SadaNews, the two young men attempted to attack a soldiers' checkpoint by trying to run over the forces at a barrier in the area.

It was indicated that one of the armed men tried to shoot at the forces and was killed.

Meanwhile, the other armed man was wounded, arrested, and transferred for interrogation, while none of the soldiers were harmed.
