HUMAIN Launches the "Horizon Pro" Personal Computer with Exceptional AI Capabilities
SadaNews - The Saudi AI company "HUMAIN," backed by the Public Investment Fund, announced the launch of the "Horizon Pro," a portable device designed to redefine personal computing by relying on independent artificial intelligence. The unveiling took place during a live discussion session featuring HUMAIN CEO Tarek Amin and Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon, at the "Snapdragon" summit on Maui.
The "Snapdragon X Elite" Processor at the Core of Performance
The "Horizon Pro" is powered by the "Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite" processor, which, according to HUMAIN, offers speeds exceeding that of the human brain by a hundred times alongside exceptional AI performance. This processor enables instant execution of complex tasks while consuming 40% less energy compared to similar systems. Moreover, it features advanced cooling systems for stable performance even in challenging environments, while the battery exceeds 18 hours of continuous work on a single charge.
Supported by the "Humain One" System and the "ALLAM" Model
The "Horizon Pro" operates on the "Humain One" operating system, a new system that offers a unified and adaptive interface capable of anticipating user needs and accelerating decision-making processes. The system integrates deeply with the large language model "ALLAM," developed in Saudi Arabia, specially tailored for the Arabic language, with a hybrid processing capability for executing operations locally to ensure privacy or transferring to the cloud for complex tasks.
Targeted at Businesses and Individual Users
The device targets both enterprises and individual users. It provides companies with a mix of local control and cloud computing flexibility, making it ideal for secure communications and AI-supported workflows. Individual users receive the device loaded with HUMAIN's AI applications, with the ability to add additional features as needed. The company plans to offer it through a monthly subscription for AI services, alongside options for device leasing and free updates to reduce initial costs.
Tarek Amin, the CEO of HUMAIN, stated that the "Horizon Pro" represents a radical shift in AI-supported personal computing, especially in business environments where AI collaborates with users to enhance productivity. He promises that the device has been designed in Saudi Arabia to provide a world-class experience. Meanwhile, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon emphasized the importance of the partnership, stating: "With the support of (Snapdragon X Elite), this collaboration delivers stunning performance and innovative AI experiences for both business and consumer sectors. We are proud to drive the future of smart personal computing."
Investment in the Next Generation
To encourage technology adoption and skill development, Amin announced the allocation of 500 units of the "Horizon Pro" for university students as part of the launch initiative. He said, "Early access to AI technologies is essential. By providing students with this technology, we empower the next generation of innovators." The "Horizon Pro" will be available to institutions and individuals worldwide, with registration for early users open through the company’s official website.
