Doctors' Syndicate Announces Escalatory Steps in Protest Against Ministry of Health's Neglect of Its Demands
SadaNews: The Doctors' Syndicate announced the start of a series of escalatory union actions beginning today, Thursday, in protest against what it described as the lack of seriousness of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in addressing its demands and dealing with issues affecting the future of the profession and the doctor's right to a safe working environment.
The syndicate announced that starting from today, Thursday, the working hours in hospitals will be limited to on-call doctors only.
In addition to a complete shutdown in primary healthcare centers, except for emergency cases, life-saving situations, and necessary medical transfers.
The syndicate confirmed that these measures will remain in effect until a new statement is issued, indicating that the syndicate council is in continuous session to follow up on developments and make necessary decisions until the Ministry of Health responds to the doctors' demands.
