3 Injuries Due to Settler Attack in Yatta South of Hebron
SadaNews: Three citizens were injured, including two women, on Wednesday due to a brutal attack by settlers in the town and vicinity of Yatta south of Hebron.
The coordinator of the popular and national committees for resisting the wall and settlement in South Hebron, Ratib al-Jabour, told the official agency that the occupation forces assaulted the young man Yusuf Hatim Makhamra and his mother Khawla Makhamra by beating them after raiding and searching their home in the Al-Barakah neighborhood in the town of Yatta, resulting in injuries and bruises, after which Khawla was transported to the hospital, while her son Hatim was arrested by the occupation forces.
In the Sha'ab al-Batoum area in the vicinity of Yatta, armed settlers assaulted the family of citizen Muhammad Abd al-Jabbar, causing injuries and bruises to the citizen Shaimaa al-Jabbarin, who was subsequently taken to the hospital.
Additionally, several military checkpoints were set up at the entrances of Hebron and its towns, villages, and refugee camps, and a number of main and secondary roads were closed with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earthen mounds.
