Suspension of Prisoners' Sessions in Israeli Military Courts Due to Holidays
SadaNews announced that the Palestinian Prisoners and Released Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner Club have announced the suspension of prisoners' sessions in the military courts of the Israeli occupation, starting today and continuing until the day after tomorrow, due to the Jewish holiday.
The two organizations confirmed in a joint statement that the military courts will resume their work next Thursday, indicating that this suspension includes all scheduled sessions over the next three days.
This suspension comes at a time when the issue of prisoners is witnessing a notable escalation, amid ongoing daily arrest campaigns, and the deterioration of the health conditions of several sick prisoners, which increases the importance of legal and humanitarian follow-up on their cases.
