Settlers Rampage in the Town of Deir Jarir East of Ramallah
SadaNews: Today, Sunday, settlers attacked a family with beating in the town of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah.
Eyewitnesses reported that a number of settlers assaulted the elderly Sadiq Maali Farakhna and his children while they were near their home in the "Hara'iq" area, east of the town, and beat them severely, causing bruises and wounds to their hands and heads.
The settlers also attacked a vehicle that was nearby and shattered its windows.
Earlier today, settlers unleashed their livestock onto citizens' lands in the "Hara'iq" area, causing damage to trees and agricultural crops there.
These attacks come as part of a systematic policy pursued by the settlers, targeting agricultural lands and pastures, aiming to pressure citizens and force them to abandon their lands for the sake of colonial expansion.
It is noteworthy that eight days ago, settlers fired shots at a group of young men between Deir Jarir and Silwad, resulting in the martyrdom of young man Muhammad Issa Ahmed Alawi (21 years old).
