"Amnesty International" Reveals Involvement of Companies in Gaza Crimes
SadaNews - Amnesty International has called on countries and companies around the world to halt activities that contribute directly or indirectly to supporting the system of apartheid practiced by Israel against Palestinians, asserting that the continuation of this support entrenches serious human rights violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The organization stated that it has gathered reliable evidence showing the involvement of 15 Israeli and foreign companies in supporting illegal Israeli actions, especially in the Gaza Strip, by providing equipment or technologies used in military operations or in monitoring Palestinians.
The list of companies supporting Israel included:
- The American company Boeing, whose munitions have been used in attacks on the Gaza Strip.
- The Chinese company Hikvision, a global leader in facial recognition technologies, which are used to monitor Palestinians.
- The American company Palantir, specializing in software manufacturing and data analysis, which is used to support Israeli security infrastructure.
- The South Korean HD Hyundai Group, whose equipment has been used in the demolition of homes and infrastructure in Palestinian territories.
Amnesty International affirmed that the continued support of these companies for Israel makes them complicit in the violations, calling for legal action and economic boycotts against them until they cease supporting the apartheid system.
