Hebrew Report Reveals New Details About the Rocket Launch Near Ramallah
SadaNews - A Hebrew report published through Israeli media provided new details regarding the rocket launch near Ramallah, stating that a locally-made "Qassam" rocket equipped with a warhead was successfully launched by the perpetrators late at night, according to SadaNews translation.
The report added that the rocket was launched late at night, near residential homes in the village of Kafr Ni'meh, west of Ramallah (approximately 4 kilometers away from the Modiin Illit settlement).
The Israeli occupation identified the launch site and the rocket - at a considerable distance from the launch site.
The report claimed, contrary to allegations, that the rocket was indeed launched. It had not been in construction or in storage, but was captured after it took off into the sky, disintegrated, and fell to the ground, as translated by SadaNews.
Regarding the size of the warhead, the report claimed that the matter is still under investigation by "security officials," but according to estimates, the rocket contained a relatively small warhead, according to SadaNews translation.
It noted: "This is the first time a consolidated rocket in the West Bank has reached this level of maturity and technology."
Field experts estimate that this type of Qassam rocket, which was seized, could reach a distance of about 10 kilometers from the launch point, at least up to "Modiin."
