Two Deaths Due to Famine and Malnutrition in the Last 24 Hours
SadaNews - Gaza Strip hospitals recorded two deaths due to famine and malnutrition in the last 24 hours.
Thus, the total number of deaths from famine and malnutrition has risen to 422, including 145 children.
Since the announcement of the "Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC)," 144 deaths have been recorded, among them 30 children.
It is noteworthy that malnutrition and famine cases continuously arrive at the hospitals in Gaza, where 900,000 children are suffering from hunger, with 70,000 of them having entered the stage of malnutrition.
It is mentioned that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition among children under the age of five had doubled between March and June, due to the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
