Barak: 'Operation Gideon 2' Will Not Eliminate Hamas
SadaNews - The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak confirmed that the "Operation Gideon 2" will not achieve the elimination of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
He added, "Hamas wants us to get bogged down in the mud of the city of Gaza, which would be an unprecedented diplomatic victory."
He noted that those who attack the negotiators in the capital of mediation endanger the lives of Israeli prisoners.
He continued that, as former U.S. President Donald Trump said, every time progress is made in the deal, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacks someone.
