Trump Acknowledges Publicly: My Patience with Putin has Run Out and I Will Fix the Situation in Gaza

SadaNews Economy - Despite refraining from criticizing Russian President Vladimir Putin harshly in recent times, U.S. President Donald Trump admitted that his patience with Putin is starting to wane.

Trump said in an interview with Fox News on Friday, "I have sanctions against banks and oil that I might use against Russia, as well as more tariffs."

He also added that his predecessor, Joe Biden, left him with a massive mess.

Great Hatred

Additionally, Trump confirmed that the relationship between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is extremely difficult, saying, "There is tremendous hatred between the two men."

The U.S. President repeated his previous assertion that he ended "seven major wars, some of which were unsolvable," as he put it.

Regarding the incident of Russian drones entering Polish airspace, Trump believed these drones should not be near Poland's borders.

"We Will Fix the Situation in Gaza"

On the Israeli war in Gaza, Trump clarified that his administration would "fix the situation" in the devastated Palestinian territory.

He emphasized that he informed Hamas of the necessity to "release all hostages."

However, he hinted at the possibility of "some hostages being killed in the past two days," referring to the escalation that occurred with Israel targeting a Hamas compound in Qatar's capital, Doha, which negatively impacts the hostage situation.

He said, "We will see if Hamas will return all the remaining hostages, living and dead."

Approximately 48 Israelis are still being held in the devastated Palestinian territory since October 7, 2023, but about half of them are now considered dead, according to Israeli estimates.

However, the sudden Israeli airstrikes conducted by Israel last Tuesday on a compound in Doha where Hamas leaders had gathered to discuss the latest U.S. proposal regarding a ceasefire and prisoner exchange worsened and intensified the situation.

The Israeli plans to invade and completely occupy Gaza City undermined the efforts of mediators (Egypt, Qatar, and America) to stop the war.
