42 Martyrs in Gaza Since Dawn, Famine Continues to Claim More Lives
SadaNews - Sources in Gaza hospitals reported that 42 individuals have been martyred by the occupation's fire since dawn today, including 33 in the city of Gaza and northern Gaza Strip, while the crises of famine and destruction in the sector are exacerbating, particularly in the city of Gaza.
A source at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City stated that several martyrs today fell in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Tuwam area, north of Gaza City.
In detail, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 4 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli bombing of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The Nasser Medical Complex also confirmed 3 martyrs in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Kateba neighborhood, north of Khan Younis City.
A source in the ambulance and emergency services stated that 4 individuals were martyred in an Israeli bombing of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
In central Gaza, a source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported the death of a child, Amina Ma'arouf, from Deir al-Balah in central Gaza due to malnutrition.
Earlier, a source in the ambulance and emergency services at Al-Shifa Hospital reported the martyrdom of a Palestinian and several injuries, including a young person with a disability, due to an Israeli airstrike targeting homes in the Al-Shanati area and the Al-Shati Camp, west of Gaza City.
Al-Jazeera’s correspondent also reported the martyrdom of 3 Palestinians and several injuries, including children, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a tent for displaced persons near the Firas Market in Gaza City.
Sources had previously reported the martyrdom of 53 Palestinians by the fire of the occupation forces yesterday, Thursday, including 39 in Gaza City.
The Tragedy of Famine
The tragedy of famine continues to worsen in Gaza, as the Ministry of Health in the sector announced the recording of 7 deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, including one child, within a single day, raising the total number of deceased from malnutrition to 411, among them 142 children.
For several days, Israel has initiated a gradual campaign of destruction of tall residential buildings in Gaza City, which has increased the number of displaced families and driven them into harsh displacement conditions.
The Israeli campaign has accelerated since Wednesday, targeting dozens of homes in Gaza, in an attempt to push Palestinians towards what it calls "humanitarian areas," which it claims are safe.
This escalation is accompanied by direct and repeated Israeli warnings to evacuate Gaza City.
On September 3rd, the Israeli army launched an aggression named "Gideon’s Chariots 2" to occupy the entire Gaza City (north), which sparked criticism and protests in Israel, fearing for the lives of prisoners and soldiers.
With American support, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, including killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop.
