Bloomberg: Germany Decides to Support French Proposal for a Two-State Solution
SadaNews - Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing informed sources, that the German government has decided to support a French proposal for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The report added that Germany plans to support a United Nations resolution on Friday to adopt the declaration led by France and Saudi Arabia.
The declaration that Berlin intends to support endorses the establishment of a Palestinian state as well as the right of return for refugees, noting that Germany does not intend to recognize the Palestinian state at this time. Bloomberg also reported.
Reuters has not yet been able to verify the report.
