Occupation Issues Administrative Arrest Order for 4 Months Against Hebron Mayor
SadaNews: The occupation's intelligence issued an administrative arrest order against the mayor of Hebron, Taysir Abu Sneineh (71 years old), for a duration of four months.
The Palestinian Authority for Prisoner Affairs and the Prisoner Club confirmed that this decision represents a systematic retaliatory measure and comes within the context of the collective punishment policy that the occupation continues to implement against many influential and active personalities on social and national levels. This is evident through the unprecedented expansion of the use of the crime of administrative detention since the beginning of the extermination war, where this policy has recorded its highest historical rates.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces had arrested Abu Sneineh on September 2nd from his home in the city of Hebron.
It is also mentioned that Abu Sneineh is a former prisoner who spent years in the occupation's prisons due to his participation in resistance against the occupation.
