SadaNews - On Wednesday, hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded 5 deaths, including a child, due to famine and malnutrition, over the past 24 hours, according to a statement from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
Thus, the total number of deaths due to famine and malnutrition has risen to 404, among them 141 children.
Since the IPC announcement, 126 deaths have been recorded, including 26 children.
It is noteworthy that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition among children under five had doubled between March and June due to the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
