A Hamas Delegation Concludes Its Visit to Egypt as Part of Efforts to End the War on Gaza and Stop the Escalation of Occupation Aggression in the West Bank
SadaNews - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced the conclusion of a leadership delegation's visit to Egypt last night, amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the escalating aggression in the West Bank and Jerusalem, as part of efforts to work towards ending the genocide in the Gaza Strip and halting the escalation of aggression in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The movement stated in a released statement that the delegation, led by Zahir Jabarin and joined by Hussam Badran, Kamel Abu Aoun, Ghazi Hamad, and Mahmoud Mardaawi, met with Palestinian factions, civil society organizations, Palestinian figures, and businessmen in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the aim of "enhancing consultation, developing joint work, and drawing a national roadmap," alongside emphasizing that the unity of stance and the field is a guarantee for ending the war and enhancing resilience.
The visit coincided with the escalation of the occupation's crimes in the Gaza Strip and the increase in systematic destruction and displacement policies, as part of the occupation's plans aimed at reoccupying the city of Gaza and continuing the genocide against the Palestinians.
The statement added that the Palestinian factions agreed to continue seeking ways to end the war, support the resilience of the people of the Gaza Strip, face what is happening in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, and enhance joint efforts to manage the battle, as well as draw a national roadmap for post-war scenarios.
