The Death Toll in Gaza Rises to 64,368 and Injuries to 162,776 Since the Start of the Aggression
SadaNews - Medical sources announced today, Sunday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 64,368, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The sources added that the number of injuries has risen to 162,776 since the start of the aggression, while some victims remain under the rubble, and rescue and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
They indicated that 87 martyrs have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip (including 4 martyrs who were pulled from under the rubble) and 409 new injuries have been reported in the past 24 hours, while the total of martyrs and injuries since March 18, following the violation of the ceasefire by the occupation, has reached 11,911 martyrs and 50,735 injured.
They clarified that the toll of martyrs from aid recipients who arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours is 31 martyrs, and the injuries are 132, bringing the total martyrs of those who needed a livelihood to 2,416, and the injuries to 17,709.
Gaza Strip hospitals recorded 5 new deaths in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, raising the total number of deaths to 387, including 138 children.
Since the IPC declared famine in Gaza, 109 deaths have been recorded, including 23 children.
