
5 Deaths Due to Famine in the Last 24 Hours in Gaza Strip
SadaNews - Hospitals in the Gaza Strip reported today, Sunday, 5 deaths, including 3 children, due to famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours.
Thus, the total number of deaths from famine and malnutrition has risen to 387, among them 138 children.
Since the announcement of the IPC, 109 deaths have been recorded, including 23 children.
It is noteworthy that at every moment, cases of malnutrition and famine are reaching hospitals in Gaza, where 900,000 children are suffering from hunger, 70,000 of whom have entered the stage of malnutrition.
It should be mentioned that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) had warned that malnutrition among children under five has doubled between March and June due to the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.
