The Death Toll from the Occupation's Aggression on Gaza Rises to 64,368 Martyrs and 162,367 Injured
SadaNews - Medical sources announced today, Saturday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 64,368, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.
The medical sources added that the number of injuries has risen to 162,367 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
They noted that 68 martyrs (8 martyrs extracted from under the rubble) and 362 injured arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, while the death toll and injuries since March 18, following the occupation's breach of the ceasefire agreement, reached 11,828 martyrs and 50,326 injured.
It was clarified that the number of martyrs from humanitarian aid that arrived at the hospitals in the past 24 hours was 23 martyrs, and the injuries were 143, bringing the total number of martyrs from sustenance who arrived at the hospitals to 2,385, and the injuries to 17,577.
Gaza Strip hospitals recorded, during the past 24 hours, 6 new deaths due to famine and malnutrition, raising the total number of deaths to 382, including 135 children.
