Israeli Reserve General Predicts Catastrophic Results of Gaza Occupation

SadaNews - The Hebrew newspaper "Maariv" quoted reserve general in the Israeli occupation army, Isaac Brik, saying that "the results of re-occupying Gaza will be catastrophic."

He added: "The plan to occupy Gaza is unattainable and will lead to utter chaos in Israel."

He continued: "The situation of the ground forces explains the inability to defeat Hamas."

He noted that the lack of additional forces reduced the capability to remain in the areas occupied by the army.

He explained that the occupation army has not established professional forces to deal with hundreds of kilometers of tunnels in Gaza.

He added: "Hamas has not been defeated as claimed by the top leadership of the Israeli army."
